The ReunionThe month is September, the year 2015. And if you thought you heard a rumour about The Bay City Rollers reforming, you'd be wrong. Totally wrong. Because it's no rumour. It's absolutely true. The Rollers are back! That's right, The Bay City Rollers have reformed! After many years of disagreements, accusations, strife and hostilities, an olive branch has been offered and accepted. The Bay City Rollers have reformed and are making plans to go on tour once again. Oh boy, is the world ready for Rollermania part two!

Who's Missing? |
Well that would be Eric Faulkner and Derek Longmuir. Derek is not at all interested in a reunion having moved on a long time ago. But lead singer Les Mckeown has made it clear that the door is still open for Eric Faulkner to re-join the group once again and tour with himself, Alan and Woody should he so wish. Let's hope at some stage Eric says yes! If he does re-join the band the fans will be delighted.
"Come back Eric, we still love you! We miss you and we want you back!!!!!" |
So What's Next?
The Bay City Rollers (well 3 fifths of them anyway) are set to bring a bit of Rollermania back as they go on tour once again. They already have plans to do concerts in Glasgow, Edinburgh and London. (These will be around Christmas time and the New Year) And they are receiving requests to visit other Countries such as The USA, Canada, Australia and Germany. But it's only right and proper that the group should tour the UK and Ireland first before other countries. After all, it was the UK fans that made them in the first place. So it looks like The Bay City Rollers are well and truly back. And as their many fans dust off their tartan scarves and get ready for the Bay City Rollers to come to town, they're probably thinking with sheer delight - it's about time too!
